Building Hope, One Guest at a Time
At Valor Ranch, we believe those who have served others deserve a place to rest, reconnect, and recharge. Our Ranch provides veterans, injured and recovering service members, first responders, and their families with opportunities to step away from the demands of daily life and enjoy time together in a peaceful, welcoming environment. Through Respite on the Farm, Ranch Reset Days, and other outdoor and ranch activities, guests can enjoy time with family, connect with others who understand their experiences, and simply breathe. Whether it's gathering around a campfire, spending time with the animals, enjoying the outdoors, or sharing a meal, the simple moments can make a meaningful difference. But these experiences don't happen on their own. Valor Ranch is completely volunteer-powered and supported by our community. Volunteers give their time and talents, while local businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals provide financial support, supplies, meals, services, and other resources. Every contribution helps us keep these opportunities free for those we serve and ensures the Ranch remains a place where veterans and first responders can find rest, connection, and hope.

Did You Know?
Did you know a group of eagles is called a "convocation"? We think that's the perfect word for our growing community of businesses, volunteers, and supporters — because we are stronger when we come together. At Valor Ranch, every business brings something unique: resources, expertise, connections, and a commitment to making a difference. One business can make an impact; a community of businesses can change lives. This September, we celebrate the partners who help Valor Ranch rise to new heights. We invite your business to join us in supporting tomorrow's heroes. Together, we can make a lasting impact in our community.

Message from Leadership: Preparing Today to Welcome Tomorrow's Heroes
Every day at Valor Ranch, something meaningful is happening. A volunteer repairs a fence. A horse learns to trust again. A veteran laughs with their family around a campfire. A first responder takes a deep breath and realizes they aren't carrying the weight alone. None of those moments happen by accident. They happen because an incredible community chooses to invest in those who have spent their lives serving others. August is one of our busiest months as we continue hosting Ranch Reset Days, preparing for fall retreats, training volunteers, caring for our therapy animals, and planning our largest fundraiser of the year — the Run for Valor. Thank you for walking beside us. Because of your support, healing continues to happen every day.

Welcome Home, Spin It (aka Tucker)!
Our newest therapy horse has officially joined the Valor Ranch family. Spin It, a five-year-old Thoroughbred, was generously donated through the Thoroughbred Transition Project. Although his racing career came to an early end due to a minor injury, he now begins an exciting new chapter serving injured service members, veterans undergoing care and treatment, and first responders. We are grateful to Natalie Wales and the Thoroughbred Transition Project for trusting Valor Ranch with his future. We can't wait to watch the lives he touches.

Ranch Reset Days Continue to Change Lives
This month we welcomed another incredible group of active-duty service members through our Restorative Experiences Program. Away from uniforms, schedules, and daily pressures, participants spent the day connecting with horses, enjoying archery, sharing meals, laughing together, and simply breathing. These aren't therapy sessions. These experiences are provided completely free of charge thanks to volunteers and donors who believe those who serve our communities deserve a place to rest, reconnect, and recharge. To apply, visit our Visit Valor Ranch page.

Be More Than a Sponsor — Run for Valor 2026 Sponsorships Are Open
Planning is already underway for Valor Ranch's largest fundraising event of the year, and we're inviting businesses, organizations, and community leaders to stand with those who have served us. The 4th Run for Valor is far more than a race — it's a community event that brings together hundreds of runners, walkers, volunteers, veterans, military families, and first responders, all united by one purpose: changing lives. Sponsoring is an opportunity to showcase your commitment to those who serve, increase your visibility with hundreds of participants and supporters, and make a lasting impact on the lives of local heroes. Sponsorships and registration are now open. To get involved, contact Amanda Blackman at amanda.blackman@valorranch.us or 757-642-1330, or visit our sponsorship page.
