As we step into March, Valor Ranch continues to witness the powerful impact of community, connection, and compassionate care. Every program hosted, every volunteer hour served, and every partnership formed contributes to renewed strength in the lives of the military members, veterans, first responders, and families we are honored to serve. Looking ahead, we are focused on expanding our reach, strengthening sustainable partnerships, and creating new opportunities for restoration and resilience. The momentum is building, and the future of Valor Ranch is filled with purpose, growth, and hope.

The red barn at the edge of the property was enhanced with a new concrete floor and loft steps. The true value is not in its appearance, but in sheltering nearly 2,000 bales of ranch-harvested hay that are used at a rate of 10 bales a day to feed our animals.

Valor Ranch is excited to announce a renewed partnership with Genesis Firearms to host a special raffle featuring a Daniel Defense firearm. On the eve of February 24, 2026, Valor Ranch came alive with energy, connection, and purpose during a vibrant Open House around the fire. Twenty-five prospective volunteers and partners joined current team members for a dynamic and inspiring evening filled with meaningful conversation and genuine camaraderie. Guests were warmly welcomed with s'mores, brownies, hot chocolate, and coffee, setting the stage for an engaging fireside chat about the mission, momentum, and growing impact of Valor Ranch. We look forward to continuing the journey together at our Information Session on March 24 at 6:00 PM, where we will thoughtfully explore volunteer expectations and the many opportunities to serve.

Valor Ranch is seeking two key volunteers to help shape our future. The Budget & Finance Team Lead will steward resources with integrity and foresight — overseeing budgeting processes, financial reporting, and long-term sustainability planning. The Social Media Lead will amplify our story — increasing awareness, engagement, and community partnerships through consistent messaging and digital presence. Before the sun rises and long after the day winds down, the Animal Care Team is there. Forty dedicated volunteers faithfully care for 19 horses, 3 mini donkeys, 6 goats, along with our turkeys and chickens — ensuring each one is safe, fed, groomed, and deeply loved. What truly sets this team apart isn't just their reliability — it's their compassion. They know the personalities, the quirks, the subtle changes that tell them when something isn't quite right. They train one another, cross-train in different roles, and are constantly learning so they can provide the very best care possible. Their servant hearts create the calm, healthy, and welcoming environment that makes healing possible at Valor Ranch.
